The car drive shaft is the engine of the work done by the way the torque into the rear axle reducer, important components to drive the car forward or backward. It is by the intermediate drives shaft and rear drive shaft to float the composition of the assembly, and some also have transmission. The drive shaft is an elongated tube that is often rotated around its center at 200-2000 rpm. Transmission shaft due to material and process, it cannot have a steady quality, symmetry of the tube. The support and coupling of the drive shaft, especially the floating part and the shaft tube and other components of the elastic system, due to the periodic direction of the centrifugal moment of inertia force, produce periodic forced vibration. In order to avoid this phenomenon, the designer, in addition to avoid the critical speed of the resonance, may be used as a common working speed. The appropriate increase in the rigidity of the system, the shaft should also be generated by the asymmetric centrifugal inertia force to limit to a minimum. This is why the drive shaft requires dynamic balance accuracy. Drive shaft in the factory must go through the dynamic balance test. This inspection work is carried out on a special "drive shaft balancing test machine". The drive shaft is supported on a specific speed at 1600-3200 rpm.

Over the years, the production of a variety of drive shaft assembly accumulated a certain amount of experience. First of all, we have developed a variety of automotive transmission shaft balance test standards. The initial dynamic balance error, for the general truck cannot exceed 300 g.cm for regular cars, cannot exceed 200 g.cm for light cars. Unqualified shafts require rework. Second, after testing, the maximum unbalance shall not exceed 50% of the design requirements or 100 g · cm standard, or less than 20 g · cm · standard as the enterprise standard. Third, the test speed: general truck 1600rpm. Light passenger car 2400rpm. Designed to specify the dynamic balance accuracy is 100 g.cm, we actually control to more than 50 grams. After this check the drive shaft, vibration is small, long life.

In short, the drive shaft production, from the single to the assembly, must be successfully passed the dynamic balance test. The final calibration is to meet the standard requirements for reducing vehicle vibration, improve component life, meaning far-reaching.
