How well balanced are your machines?

Imbalance is a predominant cause of

machine vibration, stress and untimely

failure. A good balance condition is also

fundamental to achieving energy efficient

operations.

JP offer dynamic balancing of rotating equipment at our

facilities, as well as field balancing in situ.

All balancing is performed to IS0 1940 standards and balance

correction achieved in 1 or 2 planes.

Rotating equipment requiring dynamic balancing includes:

- fans and blowers

- rotors

- compressors

- armatures

- impellors

- pump assemblies

- steam and gas turbines

Workshop balancing

- Hard & Soft bearing, JP Balancing machine capable of balancing items as

long as six metres and up to 20,000kg

- All serviced machines are balanced, except for small rotors

In situ – onsite balancing

- Rotating assemblies can be balanced in place with the

- no need to dismantle machinery

- reduced downtime

- minimal disturbance when re-commissioning machinery,

ensuring achieved balance level remains

- Provides opportunity for other non-balance related faults to

be diagnosed and corrected onsite
